Since these are extra roomy buy one size smaller.I am wearing these socks for the first time as I only received these a few days ago! They are some of the best, softest socks I have ever worn! I love these, and I will be ordering more in the future. I currently wanted to try one pair of black and white each, and I am so happy I ordered and tried these socks!I highly recommend! Fit is perfect, and so is the way they feel. They stay up well even though they are so soft with a little extra thickness on the bottom. I love these!!Runs a little big and bunches up around heel and ankles. I am a women's size 8.5 and ordered small.Today is October 1, 2017, and my first purchase of these socks was in March 2015. Those socks still look brand new, and they are more necessary now than ever with advancing neuropathy. I've tried multiple brands of "Diabetic Socks" over the past few years while searching for a better price. Not a single one has come close to matching the quality of the "Dr Comfort Diabetic Extra Roomy Socks." When planning a purchase of almost anything, I read the reviews written by other users of the product. So, here is a review from a relatively long time user of these socks who has come back for more! If you are purchasing for the first time, pay attention to the shoe size range marked with the socks. They are nice and thick, which is a great quality for me, since my feet are almost like ice most of the time. Note: You may need to go up ½ size and / or one width measurement to be kind to your feet and to easily accommodate your new socks - in or out of shoes. The anti-bacterial feature is a definite plus. I make sure now that that feature is in all my husband's' socks. No more smelly shoes and socks. Wish I'd had that around when my forty year old son was a teenager. I hope you'll enjoy your new socks! These are the only socks I have ever owned that got holes in them. I purchased in separate orders four pairs and three socks got holes. Insofar as being a diabetic sock I can say that the do the job. I feel I really need to say this; when I contacted Doctor comfort and explained that I use a front loading machine without an agitator and washed them on delicate and hung them to dry and as I had ordered three times in the space of a few months and three of the eight socks developed holes. I was told despite what the manufacturer recently wrote that there is not warranty. They wrote to me via amazon that they would send me THREE PAIRS IN BLACK--TO DATE I HAVE RECEIVE ONE PAIR IN BLACK AND I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT AMAZON IS RESPONSIBLE WHICH IS NOT TRUE AS AT THAT TIME THESE WERE BEING SHIPPED AND SOLD TOTALLY BY DR. COMFORT AND ONLY PURCHASED THROUGH AMAZON. AMAZON IS A SCRUPULOUSLY HONEST COMPANY-THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT BELONG ON THE AMAZON WEBSITE.Bought these for my Grandma, who is diabetic. She has a lot of trouble finding socks that are a comfortable material AND fit properly, especially because of swelling. I found a pair of these a while ago in a diabetic shop and decided to give them a whirl - she loved them! These socks are all she has talked about for a year. The shop runs out of stock on these quickly so I was glad to find them here, AND for a fraction of the cost! Great product! These are very comfortable, and the "Extra Roomy" version stretches quickly and easily over the foot. I did not have any problem with the extra stretchy roominess causing any falling down of the socks. That may depend on your foot and leg size. But do not confuse these with the other, regular, Dr. Comfort socks which are also comfortable, but have standard leg width, and are tighter and slower to pull on.My husband has diabetic neuropathy and loves these socks. They have plenty of room and aren’t tight. They are very soft and don’t pill like other diabetic sock brands. They look very nice. I’ve been washing these socks for a year and they still feel and look great. I highly recommend them. I only wish they were about an inch or two higher on the calf.
